For In-Person Programs:
Please monitor your email inbox for official contact from Division of Lifelong Learning staff. Programs scheduled to meet at a University of Maine System facility that has been closed will need to be postponed or cancelled. Refer to the University of Maine website for information on campus closures. In the event of cancellation, you will receive a refund in full.
For Live Online Programs:
Programs delivered over Zoom will not be subject to campus closure calls, with the following exceptions determined on an as-needed basis:
- Program facilitator or Division of Lifelong Learning staff are unable to access a stable internet connection or electricity for program delivery due to inclement weather or other large-scale outages
- Other emergencies that disrupt the availability of Division of Lifelong Learning staff or a majority of enrolled participants
Please monitor your email inbox for official contact from Division of Lifelong Learning staff in the event of potential disruption or postponement. In the event of cancellation, you will receive a refund in full.
If your program is cancelled due to low enrollment, we will notify you at least three business days before the program is scheduled to begin, and you will receive a full refund.
Division of Lifelong Learning live programs are administered with the expectation of full participation. CEUs, contact hours, and proof of attendance are only offered to participants who are able to attend the program as advertised. Make-up work, program recordings, or other alternatives are not guaranteed and are offered solely at the discretion of Division of Lifelong Learning staff and program facilitators on a case-by-case emergency basis and are not guaranteed.
Notice of withdrawal must be submitted in writing (email preferred) no later than 10 days prior to the start date of the program to receive a refund in full. Refund requests cannot be honored after that time.
