Rachel Mathieson

Rachel Mathieson is an Administrative Specialist for the Division of Lifelong Learning (DLL) at the University of Maine. Rachel deeply appreciates the positive impact that pursuing higher education has for an individual, a family, and a community. She enthusiastically brings her perspective, skills, and experience to her work with UMaineOnline, Bachelor of University Studies, and online educational technology graduate programs.

Rachel brings with her over 20 years working in nonprofit organizations and wealth of experience in teaching and training, and sales and marketing. She began working for the UMaine Admissions Department in August 2019 as a Temporary Admissions Counselor before transitioning to DLL. She worked as a graduate assistant and earned her Master’s Degree in Music at UMaine in 1999 and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education.
