Lauren Kage

Lauren is a master’s student in the UM School of Social Work, completing her specialization-year internship at DLL. She is focusing on the Division’s Finish Strong students by engaging in program research and providing success coaching.

A lifelong learner herself, Lauren is an alumnus of UNC-Chapel Hill, where she earned a BA in Economics and Environmental Studies in 2004 and a Master’s of Library Science in 2011.  In the past, she has worked on a database that pairs readers with books that match their interests. She is excited to use this experience, matching people to the resources they need, as well as empathy for the unique challenges of returning to school as an adult, to help others achieve their goals.

In her free time, Lauren enjoys reading, cooking, and hiking.
