Laura Siegel
Laura is the Operations Coordinator for the Division of Lifelong Learning as of September 2025. She graduated from Indiana University Bloomington in 2009 with a dual-major B.A. in Linguistics and Sociology with a minor in music, then stayed at IUB and completed a Master of Library Science degree in 2012. She then spent another decade in staff positions at IUB, in residence life and admissions operations, while also nurturing a passion for wildlife rehabilitation and conservation education through her volunteer work at a nearby wildlife center. In 2021, that passion led her to accept a job in New Mexico, where she lived in Santa Fe and worked for 4 years as a wildlife rehabilitator and communications specialist at New Mexico Wildlife Center. With that adventure now concluded, Laura is excited to come back east, return to the world of higher education, and explore Maine!
Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with her friends and her cat, continuing to volunteer in wildlife rehabilitation, and pursuing as many creative projects as she can get her hands on.
