She is an office liaison for many members of the UMaine campus community that includes the Office of Student Records, the College Dean’s offices, academic departments/schools and UMaine faculty.

Gina is a long-tenured employee of UMaine but her experience at UMaine started as early as high school when she was chosen to participate in the University of Maine Upward Bound (UB) program. With UB’s helpful guidance she became a first-generation college student at UMaine, first earning an A.S. degree in Resource and Business Management and then continuing on in the RBM two plus two program. Shortly after graduation, she accepted a position in UMaine’s Registrar’s Office handling space and scheduling and thus started her exciting career at the University of Maine.

Her personal interests include crafts, gardening, and running. She has competed in over 12 marathons, 25 half marathons and 2 Ultra-marathons. She is a committee member of UMaine’s own Blackbear Marathon and volunteers her time at numerous UMaine running events and the Boston Marathon.
