Originally from western Massachusetts, Abby received her bachelor’s degree in Geography-Anthropology and a Certificate in Applied Geographic Information Systems from the University of Southern Maine in 2012. While a student at USM, she served as a tutor with the Learning Commons, working with students on both writing and technology applications. Since graduating in 2012, Abby has worked in land use management and geospatial data applications.
Abby is enrolled as a graduate student in the M.Sc. in Quaternary & Climate Studies program. Her research interests are prehistoric adaptation and resource use in response to climatic changes in Maine and the Canadian Maritimes.
