a series of Special Institutes offered during the University
of Maine Summer University.
Annual Middle-Level Education Institute
offers experts, resources and opportunities to learn about
successful middle-level philosophy, research and practices.
Along with the usual team time, this year offers a new format
in which we plan the week and workshops around participant
questions and concerns.
Dates: June 24– June 28, 2007.
Maine Writing Project Summer Institute
10th Annual Summer Institute, Orono, Maine.
Dates: June 18- July 14, fifteen sessions.

of writing? Do you see yourself as a teacher of teachers,
or would you like to be? The Maine Writing Project, an affiliate
of the National Writing Project, welcomes nominations for
